Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy joined other leaders in expressing their heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the fire accident at a pharma plant in Sangareddy on Monday.
The PMO tweeted (‘X’)that an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh will be paid from the PM National Relief Fund to the deceased family members and ₹50,000 each to those injured. Mr. Shah said he was saddened by the accident and said the NDRF team was rushed to the site to assist the local administration. Mr. Kishan Reddy said he had spoken to the district administration and urged them to take immediate rescue measures and provide necessary medical support.
