Although enough parking space is available on the Infopark campus, there is a trend of parking on the roadside outside the complex, officials say.

Infopark Kochi has added around 600 additional car parking lots in the face of frequent clamour for increased parking space from private companies and developers who have leased land in the IT complex.
Infopark Kochi has four buildings of its own in Phase-1, with its companies already enjoying parking facilities. Infopark Square, near Infopark’s southern gate, which is entirely dedicated to paid parking, has space for 140 cars. However, only 40% of the space is used on average, a release issued by Infopark said.
A free electric buggy service is also available from Infopark Square parking to the offices of the companies. The free service features two electric buggies that go from both entrances of Infopark and in front of all buildings. The service is from 8.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then for three hours from 4 p.m. A buggy can accommodate 14 people.
In addition, the authorities have provided parking facilities on private land near the southern entrance of Infopark Expressway with space for 340 cars. Companies in Infopark can also acquire parking here on a bulk-lease basis, but here too, only 58% of parking is used, according to the release. More parking space has been provided as the number of companies and employees has gone up. Even so, as Infopark officials note, there is a trend of parking on the roadside outside the campus. Infopark social media accounts and internal WhatsApp groups have posted a map containing the parking facilities.
Besides, a digital display showing parking facilities has been set up on the Phase-1 campus.
