Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd., (TNPDCL) has announced that power supply will remain suspended in the following areas of the city from 9.45 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on May 2 as a precautionary measure in view of the proposed demolition of the dilapidated tenements of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at Marsinghpet: Marsinghpet, Housing Unit, Cooni Bazaar, Cooni Bazaar Main Road, Pallivasal Street, Bhagavathi Amman Temple Street, Saveriyar Kovil Street, and Nemathan Street.
The TNPDCL will hold consumer grievance redress meetings at the following circle offices in the district as per the following schedule in May: May 2 – Musiri; May 6 – Thuraiyur; May 9 – Srirangam; May 13 – Lalgudi; May 16 – Tiruchi East; May 20 – Tiruchi Metro and May 27 – Manapparai.
Consumers can appear in person to represent their grievances at the meetings, A. Selvi, Superintending Engineer, Tangedco, Tiruchi Metro Circle, said in a press release.
